GazGain is designed to give a useful recommendation without keeping more data than needed.
Location
Your exact position is rounded to about 100 m before server-side calculations. GazGain does not store your precise GPS location.
Accounts and preferences
If you create an account, GazGain may save your garage, preferences, themes, hidden stations and savings history so they can sync across devices.
Recommendations and reports
Recommendation sessions, evaluated stations, estimated routing costs, confirmed fill-ups and price reports may be kept to run the service, prevent abuse and improve data quality.
Rewards and referrals
If you use rewards or a referral link, GazGain may keep the relationship between the referrer and invited account, reward earn/use history, qualification evidence and basic anti-abuse signals. Invitations are shared by you; GazGain does not send referral emails on your behalf.
Analytics
GazGain uses internal product events and self-hosted Umami analytics to understand general product usage. This data is used to operate the product; it is not resold.
Payment
Premium payments are handled by Stripe. GazGain stores the Stripe identifiers needed for subscriptions, but does not store card numbers.
Your choices
You can use GazGain without an account, clear local GazGain data from settings, or contact us for account-related access, correction or deletion requests.
